Matchbox
A "matchbox" can refer to a container for matches, a brand of die-cast toy vehicles, or even a company name in various fields. The original matchbox is a box, often cardboard or wood, with a striking surface for holding and lighting matches. As a brand, Matchbox is most famously associated with the miniature die-cast toy cars, trucks, and planes originally named because the toys were sold in boxes the size of a matchbox; it is currently owned by Mattel.
